The crazy part is. China has absolutely been eyeing Taiwan. Now, that the US are throwing away global power left and right. China is smart enough to back off any upscaling and just sit back and win more for free than they could have exhausting resources aggressively.
Yes, Taiwan is still on the chopping block. But, kicking that can down the road another decade opens more doors for stability.
