January the 25th, 2026 – The popular Meneghetti Hotel and Winery has been listed among the world’s top 101 hotels, further spotlighting the diversity of the Croatian tourism offer.
As Sinisa Malus/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Croatian tourism has received yet another important global recognition. The Meneghetti Hotel and Winery has been included among the 101 best hotels in the world in the famous Tatler Travel Guide 2026. This is a prestigious annual selection of the best hotels in the world published every year by the respected British magazine Tatler.
Tatler, one of the most influential luxury and lifestyle magazines in the entire world with a tradition spanning over a hundred years, is otherwise part of the well known Condé Nast publishing house. Its Tatler Travel Guide, which is published exclusively in the printed edition of the magazine, is considered one of the most selective and reputable luxury guides there is.
Unlike the vast majority of other similar guides, it isn’t based on mass reviews or commercial criteria, but on prior rigorous testing and curated selection by the editorial team themselves. Inclusion in this guide is reserved exclusively for hotels that stand out for their authenticity, extremely high end service and strong connection to the destination they’re located in, and only a few are selected. In its 2026 edition, Tatler recognised Croatia’s Meneghetti Hotel and Winery as one of the world’s leading luxury hotels, highlighting its deep connection to the Istrian terroir, vineyards and local gastronomy.
Meneghetti also recalled that this is one in a series of awards, considering that in 2025 they also won the famous Condé Nast award – Condé Nast UK Readers’ Choice Awards 2025. They did so as the only hotel from Croatia, scoring an incredibly impressive score of 95.05 out of 100 points. This prestigious award is based on the votes of more than 182,500 travellers and readers. In addition, Meneghetti received the Michelin key of the famous Michelin Guide, also in 2025.
The Meneghetti estate is otherwise divided into 59 luxurious, yet unobtrusively stylised rooms, suites, villas and residences – each with its own rhythm and view, imbued with timeless aesthetics and comfort.
