He did. We will never forget.

It is time to abolish ICE and impeach and remove Trump.

**Statement from Michael and Susan Pretti
    Parents of Alex Jeffrey Pretti**

We are heartbroken but also very angry.

Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately, he will not be with us to see his impact.

I do not throw around the ‘hero’ term lightly. However, his last thought and act was to protect a woman. The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He had his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down, all while being pepper sprayed.

**Please get the truth out about our son.** He was a good man. Thank you.

If his murder is what motivates people to rise up and not take this anymore, then he will have made a very important difference.

That last part is the definition of heartbreaking. I will remember him as a good man, that I promise.

  5. Didn’t you hear? He’s a domestic terror assassin now!

Miller should be thrown into the sea

Edit: rest in peace, brave man.

I firmly believe that his murderer will be brought to justice someday. It might not be tomorrow, or next week, or even next year, but that POS will see consequences.

Trump and his entire administration needs to be removed and carted off to jail. Democrats can’t pussyfoot around this issue any longer. General strikes need to be organized in every major city. It’s no longer a matter of if but when he decides to use the insurrection act. It’s time we got ahead of him instead of reacting. Use that anger not for violence, but to mobilize and organize.

Every Conservative that voted for and supports Trump is a giant fucking piece of trash and a stain on all of our lives. There are no ‘good’ Conservatives, just abhorrent Nazi supporters that deserve nothing but the worst

Alex Pretti died a hero. He made a difference. His final words were, “Are you okay?” He was a healer who died protecting someone.

    Rest in power, Alex Pretti.

I want to point this out again:

About 13,000 illegal immigrants were estimated to be in Minneapolis, and 130,000 in the state. The total ice docket for Minnesota of those either in custody or in active proceedings is 130,000, and they state they have arrested 10,000 in Minneapolis. Of the ones detained, 5 percent have a record of violence, despite continually featuring extreme violence among those captured.

The city is ranked 25th in violence. Murders heavily reduced in 2024 and then in 2025, with 64 for the year of 2025. Two dead, even justified, at the hands of enforcement in 2026 is a significant portion of violent deaths.

3000 agents are in the city where there is a police force of 600.

There are 3000 agents in Texas where they say 2.1 million illegal immigrants are.

Our total US population for the last decade has had slower growth, at about 8 percent. Despite saying 20 million illegal immigrants flooded the US in the last 4 years, the total US population including everyone went from 331 million to 340 million. Trump says 2.5 million illegal immigrants are out of the country in one year. That would take out 25 percent of the entirety of the added population in the last 4 years, reducing 3 percent growth in 4 years to 2.25 percent.

Is this level of deployment of immigration enforcement in Minneapolis warranted? Does the leadership deploying them demonstrate professionalism, a value for proportionate response, circumspect accountably?

Does an aggressive posture like this create the negative feedback loops of mutual distrust that so much research has discussed: https://law.yale.edu/sites/default/files/area/center/justice/document/5697d9ee08aea2d74375cb87.pdf

  11. Today Republicans learned that even Dems can have legally concealed guns and they don’t know how to process such information

  12. TheOhrenberger on

He did. He courageous fight against ICE will be the catalyst that destroys it and saves thousands of lives going forward.

  13. Just want to reiterate there’s a clear angle of one of these ICE pigs clapping w joy right after they murder him

  14. I doubt you’ll ever see this, but Susan and Michael, your son was the very definition of a hero. I have no words to say how sorry I am for your loss and for the slander of your son’s name which you must now endure. We don’t buy their bullshit for a second. You clearly raised an amazing young man and I’m sure you are extremely proud. I’m praying you find peace, justice, and comfort in this seemingly impossible time. The people are with you.

  15. Yeah. This one seems clear as day with murder. There isn’t deniability like Renee. He had no weapon at the point he was flying, he wasn’t even trying to flee. He was calm. Had his hands up. This one is murder and needs to act as such

  16. There is no way we can let them try to turn this honorable man into a terrorist!

    No. Way.

They don’t get to take his life and then stomp on his legacy!

    *They* are the terrorists.

  17. LysanderAmairgen on

I’m sure conservatives in their forums are happy to sacrifice more people at the alter of facism

  18. Alex is the epitome of a TRUE AMERICAN HERO and PATRIOT! My heart is broken that this world has lost an angel. May the world’s dismay and heartache offer the Pretti family some comfort. 🇺🇸🌹🙏

  19. Agreeable-Wealth-812 on

God fucking damn this was tough to watch on video..

Do we at least know he died fast? I can’t imagine having bullets in my back while being squashed by 5 other goons…..

  20. ThatsItImOverThis on

One could be dismissed as an aberration, two is a pattern.

Do you have to get to Iran level miserable before you take to the streets to stop this?

  21. How many more innocent, good people will be murdered under this regime?

I hope his name and Renee’s are printed in history books so everyone remembers than even in 2026, history repeated itself.

  22. Wonderful-Impact-598 on

He did his part, but that has sadly come to an end. Now it’s up to everyone else to ensure his life makes as positive a difference as possible.

  23. I am so sorry to his family and friends I think many of us realized as soon as we found out he was an RN in the ICU for the VA he cared about helping people I will post your posting on my sub stack

My heart and prayers go out to you we all know what we saw he was trying to help a girl that they shoved and his maniacs raged out of control nobody should be enforcing the law except law enforcement that has the etiquette training I think we should push for a law in Congress to take all the guns from these people that they’re only allowed to use taser guns they’re trying to recruit people to murder people right now somebody went undercover from the US Navy and that’s exactly what they said

  24. Suspicious-Art126 on

Nuremberg trials bro. I’ve never seen a more blatant violation of human rights. Trump may have immunity but not the ones just following orders.

  25. Conservatives brandish guns at protests all the damn time to purposely intimidate people, NOT for defense. Sure, Alex had a gun, *legally*, not being needlessly pointed at people to intimidate them. It was *taken away* before he was shot, *in the back*, while *kneeling*, *not resisting arrest* and *not a threat*. What kind of precedent will we set if the ICE agent isn’t tried for murdering someone who didn’t commit any crime? Any pro-gun advocate wants a police state that can shoot you just for owning a gun legally? What about invade your house without a warrant? Arrest and detain you without probable cause? You’re creating the very tyrannical government you said you’d protect us from with your guns.
