
A while ago, there was a European citizens initiative about stop killing games (e.g. games that require always online connection having servers shut down without any offline alternative) where people could sign off on, and for the verified signatures we got 63 more than denmark.
In all seriousness, I believe this is a brilliant accomplishment, not only on Ireland’s part, but the whole Eu, including Denmark.
This’ll help us let us keep the products we purhased without them being taken away from us at anytime, which I feel is important in a day and age where a lot of one time purchases are being replaced with subscriptions and such, and effects everyone not only in Ireland, but the whole world. This shows that when we unite, we can do a lot more than we think we can.
