“Sanae activities” not working anymore lol. Told ya guys, sooner or later ignorant Japanese voters who support her will come to realize that her “strong bold appearance” doesn’t help uplift their wages or reduce their living cost.

Given that Sanseito is also an alternative to the LDP, I am not sure that the situation will automatically improve if the LDP loses the election. A potential cooperation between the LDP and Sanseito would be wild and have far-reaching, negative consequences.

I think this is actually bad news. My guess is that the disapproval come less from liberals and more from folks on the far right realizing that she’s not as radical as they thought she would be.

Just wait for this to make her promise more things that require more printing money and as a result get the yen to go lower.
On the other hand, most analysts are like “all political parties are promising the moon, but the day after the elections they are gonna tone down the discourse because it is not going to happen”.

No surprise. We will still likely see a landslide victory for the LDP.
