      Where are all the people to stand for Ukraine where an actual invasion has taken place and war crimes are being committed every day? Hamas get a free pass on hoarding and starving their own citizens and have genocide of Israel as their goal as well as refusing to accept a two state solution. It is literally within their control to stop all the violence and yet these morons make them out to be the victims.

      If there are people out there that actually believe in freedom from genocide stand up for Ukraine and demand that Hamas finally do the right thing and accept a two state solution and stop attacking Israel. Israel, while far from perfect, cannot change the behaviour of the terrorists that run Gaza and have their civilian’s support even as they starve them and destroy their infrasctucture.

      I cant think of a cause where the group has turned me against their aims more than this bunch of morons

      What do they actually think they’re going to achieve by this?

      Obviously if you invade a state institution you’re going to be arrested (and probably fined and given a restraining order or something similar).

      The hunger/thirst strike is only “dangerous” because the guy doing it chooses to put himself at risk, it’s not like the prison is denying him food and drink. And he’s not holding out for some goal that the public really agree with.

      I fully support accepting a Palestinian refugee in replacement with these performative protestors.

      We should start an activist martyr movement where we accept refugees for every activist who puts their morality where their mouth is.

      That’s a big mistake. Society is very tolerant of nonsense, but it cannot tolerate you trying to break out terrorists and criminals. If they send the message that you can just break out people you like, then why even have the courts at all? Imagine if you support a prosecution for someone robbing you, and then his family just bust him out. What message does that send? You’d question why we even have prison at all, when we could just have lynching.

      They’re going to have to be sentenced harshly for this. Just like when they sentenced the rioters harshly. You can’t have people doing things like this in a functioning society. You don’t get to act on behalf of the country and attack its institutions.
