A train level crossing crash Poland unfolded in Błonie on Saturday afternoon (January 25), when two passenger trains carrying around 600 people struck a car, the Mirror reported.

This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The incident took place at the Błonie level crossing on Poniatowskiego Street, after which all travellers were evacuated.
As PolsatNews reported, a Ford Focus breakdown on tracks left the vehicle stuck on the rails. The driver is said to have tried to push the car clear, but could not move it in time.
An Intercity train Szczecin Główny to Rzeszów Główny service then hit the vehicle and forced it onto the opposite line, leaving the car on the other track.
A second train subsequently collided with the same vehicle — another moment in which two trains hit car during the same sequence of events. The Daily Star said the car had allegedly already caught fire by that stage.
Deputy Inspector Ewelina Gromek-Oćwieja of the Warsaw West District Police was quoted describing how the Ford Focus broke down at the level crossing and the driver attempted to push it off the tracks, but did not manage to do so before it was struck and shunted onto the other line, where a second Intercity train hit it, according to the Polish Press Agency (PAP).
No casualties have been confirmed. All passengers from both services — around 600 passengers on board in total — were safely evacuated.
