So I’m taking this beauty on a tour this summer along the south-coast of Norway. And just wanna know if any of you know of any shelters, camp sites or huts etc with a electricity outlet to charge electronics and ebikes?

I’m okay with paying a small fee, but nothing over the top, as i only need a maximum of 1 kilowatt.(Like 1-2 NOK)

Does shelters usually have electricity? Where? What about small 1-2 man huts? Where and how much do they cost? Any solution would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks ❤️

  1. Shelters (e.g. Gapahuker, lean-tos) in Norway usually don’t have electricity, as they are primarily made for day-time use as picnic spots, or for one-night stays by local school classes or scout groups. They’re not commonly used by backpackers or tourers the way shelters/lean-tos are used in, say, Denmark.

All camp sites have electricity therefore you can charge your ebike there.
    Confusing question tbh

  3. Basically all paid camp sites will offer electricity. Also most of them will have small huts you can rent. Since it’s off season it may be worth it to ask for a good deal on the smallest/cheapest hut they have. If you’re looking for the smallest/oldest huts you’ll often find something for 500.
