New York City: School buildings in New York City are closed and classes will be going to remote learning on Monday.
Chicago: Public schools in Chicago were closed on Friday due to frigid temperatures but are expected to reopen on Monday.
Houston: All schools and facilities in the Houston Independent School District will be closed Monday.
Atlanta: Gwinnett County, Fulton County and City Schools of Decatur will hold classes remotely, and DeKalb County will cancel classes Monday, according to updates on their sites.
Dallas: The Dallas independent school district will be closed Monday.
Charlotte: Public schools in Charlotte, North Carolina will be closed Monday.
Philadelphia: All Philadelphia public schools will be closed Monday.
Boston: Boston public schools will be closed Monday.
Memphis: All Memphis-Shelby County Schools are closed Monday due to “hazardous conditions.”
Nashville: Metro Nashville public schools and offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Washington DC area: DC Public Schools are closed Monday due to a pre-planned records day. In Virginia, Fairfax County public schools will be closed Monday. In Maryland, Prince George’s County schools will be closed Monday, while Montgomery County schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
Baltimore: Baltimore City public schools will be closed Monday, according to its website.
