Angola will probably go and buy 7 million barrels from Russia to fulfill the immediate surge in demand.

“India uses approximately 5.6 million barrels of oil per day”. I’m no mathematician, so 7 million barrels is about a 30 hour supply.

Yeah no. We didnt do it to appease EU and the US. 🤣🤣

Those who work in this industry know how little 7MMbbl is. This is more to build good relations with Angola.

  4. Now, Ukraine can finally go and win the war. Let’s go..

It’s over for Russia now. I’ll give it 2 days max.

Oh I understand that Mark Carney is visiting India very soon. I don’t think he is going there for the food? Oil is no doubt on the menu 😎

good Africa needs money to feed it’s people not paying for Russians to bomb Ukraine

  7. This diversification strengthens India’s ties with Africa while helping it balance geopolitical pressures and trade relations with the EU and the US.

A country that corrupts it’s people buys from another that corrupts it’s people.

  9. The BRICS countries use a different mechanism to buy Russian oil; they know the USA is in kill-or-be-killed mode.

  10. Its mostly just one Indian company; Reliance. Most of the others had stopped russian oil a while ago? India is paying a price for this one company’s profits I guess.

  11. Let’s be clear: If any appeasing is being done, it’s to appease the EU. The US is friends with Russia. Not so much with India.
