They wouldn’t have it any other way.

  1. Remember kids for the Republicans every accusation is a confession.

They don’t care about the constitution

They don’t care about the law

They don’t care about poor people

They don’t care that pedophiles run free

They don’t care about safety for Americans

They don’t care about cutting spending

They don’t care about lowering taxes

    They don’t care about women

    They don’t care about children

They don’t care about the truth

lol the change my mind guy is totally asking for it with this one, but also totally accurate tbh.

They have no humanity. They just respond to the fear and hate of their echo chamber. Children screaming in ICE raid videos is funny to them. The head of government agencies pushing propaganda to cover for the cold-blooded murder of an innocent American is acceptable to them. They are miserable people allowing the wealthy and media to pull their puppet strings to turn on the most vulnerable in our society. This is a battle of good vs evil, and MAGA is now just a hate-driven cult.

They have one core principal; they want out groups who are subject to the law but not protected by it, while they want to be part of the in group that is protected by the law but don’t have to follow it. A paraphrasing of wilhoyt’s law

I’m convinced that Republican voters have Stockholm Syndrome. They continuously vote for the candidate that will by far hurt them the most. They are so used to being abused by the people they vote for that they’re terrified a different way will be worse.

  6. Ever single argument made by a Republican is in bad faith. Every single one. It’s been like this my whole life and I’m 53.

Fake and not true at all, sometimes they go off-script and start talking about toilets and Hannibal Lecter.

i would argue they have one core principle, the expression of power/force. this is probably most noticeable in the form of misogyny or racism, but its also why they often view relationships as transactional, and family as something the man “owns”. hierarchy of power is their religion, and should reality interfere with that myth, then its their duty to rewrite reality.

  9. Nixon sold the party. He decided embracing racists and betraying the principles the gop was founded on was worth it for power. The following half a century has been all down hill

Gee you would think the Democratic Party would have learned this by now. Yet we had to hear the “my friends across the aisle”, “we need a strong Republican Party” “ for every working class person we lose we’ll gain 2 Republicans in the suburbs” horseshit while Democrats were branded Godless Commie Marxists. And then I have to put up with vote blue no matter who types making excuses for the fecklessness that helped get us here. The same types gushing over Newsom. To quote the late great Marvin Gaye – Makes Me Wanna Holler.

  11. You can’t support conservative ideology while holding something sacred.

Veterans? Children? The 2nd amendment? God? Freedom of speech? The economy? Foreign allies? The environment?

Every principle and value is crushed under the weight of one man’s ego and the hate and stupidity in the hearts and minds of his followers.

I’d say both sides have no real core value system and just do whatever it takes to keep that easy job of their’s.

  13. The current one, yes.

They didn’t used to be like this. They used to stand for something.

  14. Remember when thier party platform documented literally was nothing but “whatever rambling bs Trump says”?

  15. LilYerrySeinfeld on

Being a conservative is believing in the preservation and enforcement of hierarchy. Because the hierarchy is all that matters, then nothing is true and the only thing worth anything is preserving the power structure that you believe protects you.

Anything can be said, anything can be claimed, anything can be asserted. It doesn’t have to be true, because nothing *can* be true. The only thing that matters is enforcing your chosen hierarchy on everyone else and undermining anything that challenges it.

They do have core values. Political correctness just means it hasn’t been polite to say it. That was the deal — they stopped saying “segregation forever,” and we stopped calling them white supremacists.

Fast forward half a century, and now most of them don’t know that what they mean by “anti-DEI” is segregation, and a lot of people on both sides don’t know that when they say “the Constitution” what they mean is white supremacy.

They never cared about the right to bear arms, they cared about white supremacy. The NRA itself advocated stricter gun laws back when Black Panthers carrying black rifles were all over the news.

  17. My dad came here from a little known country in South America.

Ever since I was a kid, he’d told me how “he came here with only $50 in his pocket…and look at him now!”

He joined the military and learned discipline. Learned that Republicans cared about the country and Democrats were evil! If I just did what he did, I’d be better off!

What a fucking load of bullshit.

Suddenly he’s praising Putin, talking shit about Greenland, and saying ICE is doing a good job.

Motherfucker, you’re a brown immigrant with probably THE MOST stereotypical Hispanic last name. You were in the military but never deployed. Sure, you came here with no family or help and survived. And kudos for that.

But way to fit into the fucking “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” stereotype.

Flies American flags and Trump flags and whatever the name is for the “don’t tread on me flag” on the house.

Got tired of his bullshit and stopped bringing the kids around, because he tried telling them about Republicans and Trump and how they’re saving the country.

GTFO of here with your bullshit, old man.

    Enjoy never seeing your grandkids.
