Chris Minns is a reflection of how conservative NSW actually is.

Sydney’s lack of soul shows this in stark detail

How’s two weeks to slow the spread going?

A lot of us warned that the powers given to police during covid were going to set the precedent to use them for other things in the future.

    3. >“And if you’re the subject of that protest, it’s particularly confronting and quite divisive,” he said.

Aw, poor widdle premier feels confronted by his constituency.

    4. Good. Well done Chris. Most of these protests have nothing to do with actual Australian issues anyway.

    5. “I do believe we’re going to have to confront this idea that the centre of Sydney can be dominated weekend after weekend after weekend by the same protests,” he said. “People have got a right to protest, but other Australians have a right to enjoy the city, go to mass or go to church or go to synagogue through Hyde Park free from trying to navigate a protest every weekend.”

Chris do you understand the point of protests? I mean I don’t think you do. And I think you’re trying to get political points with the liberal crowd with shit like this. Imagine having a labor party member complaining about protests and unions.

    6. “I let you have your Invasion Day March, now get back in the box”.

At least The Guardian are saying “after the Bondi Attack” not “because of”. It’s not about terrorists, or Jews, or mourning, it’s about telling his subjects to STFU.

Just as a side note, when the deadline for submissions on proposed laws is ridiculously short, and especially when the committee considering them says “only selected submissions will be considered”, how else are we supposed to convey our irritation to misbehaving public servants?

    7. Damn if we couldn’t protest for years about issues and inconvenience people we never would have pulled out of the Vietnam civil war.

But poor little Minn’s can’t handle the idea that people actually want politicians to listen

    8. He can’t ban political chants just because someone gets offended. The Solicitor General has probably told him like 500 times you can’t keep saying he is going to ban people from protesting and the words they choose to protest with – it infringes on the implied freedom of political communication. Twomey did a great summary on Constitutional Clarion youtube channel.

    9. He’s riding high from handling the blowback of the terrorist attack well, but I wonder how long he can continue until this becomes a liability

    10. Honestly surprised there hasn’t been more protests directed at Chris Minns. I’m not even sure how he’s labour with how liberally he buddies up to property developers and continues to restrict our freedoms of political expression.

Fuck off Minns. Just skip the “being a politician” part and jump straight to a nice well-paid executive role at one of your donors.

Everyday I regret voting for this guy more and more.

We truly had the shittest choices of all time last election, vote for the pro-gambling Catholic gestapo or vote for the corrupt arresting journalists and ruining the environment gestapo.

    13. Piss-weak. How dare the people express their unhappiness and dissatisfaction with the huge amount of shit going on in our country and the wider world at the moment! /s
