“Billy” is a 3.5 year old black beauty who is searching for his final forever home. This gorgeous boy has had more addresses than he ever asked for, and at just 3.5 years old, it’s simply not fair

Originally adopted as a kitten in 2023 after being rescued from a cat hoarding situation in Roma, “Billy” has now been adopted twice and surrendered for a third time. Not because he’s naughty. Not because he’s aggressive. But because “Billy” sometimes forgets that humans are not indestructible chew toys.

“Billy” is playful, enthusiastically playful. In both previous homes, his attempts at fun occasionally resulted in scratches, which is very normal cat behaviour.

Unfortunately, due to fragile skin, this became too much for his owners to manage. With heavy hearts, the decision was made to surrender him, even though he was very much loved.

“Billy” is looking for a cat savvy owner, someone who understands feline behaviour, can read his cues, redirect play appropriately, and appreciates that cats communicate with paws, whiskers, and enthusiasm.

“Billy” would prefer to be an only pet and would thrive in a calm home without other cats. He would also love access to a secure outdoor enclosure, where he can safely patrol his domain and soak up the sunshine like the majestic black panther he believes himself to be. Currently weighing 6.8kg, “Billy” is a big lad who would benefit from a gentle weight loss journey with his new family.

Once he feels safe and secure, “Billy” shows his affectionate, friendly side, along with bursts of playful energy and charm. With patience, understanding, and commitment, this beautiful boy will absolutely flourish, and repay you with loyalty and love. “Billy” doesn’t need perfection. He just needs someone who understands cats and is ready to give him the stability he deserves.
