I think church and state should be separated. But in a democratic society, prohibiting specific religious organizations is not an appropriate way to punish them. Doing so without respecting the constitution will make a bad precedent. And that’s what I’m concerned about now..
SCJ is notorious for cozying up to political figures and getting them to pose for a photo, making it appear they belong there. I’m not saying whether that’s the case here, but often it can be hard for the figure to tell.
