I won’t think its particularly secret. Sonic weapons are not all that uncommon even. The Serbians use them against protestors, the Russians use them against the US embassy in Cuba. I think the more unique thing here is an actual operational use.

Well, people briefing him probably know they have to describe things to him as if he were a child. If they told him they jammed the radar, they know he’d make a lame joke about grape or raspberry (which Mel Brooks did better in SpaceBalls) so someone decided to use baby talk instead. Of course he repeated it back in public.

Nothing really new tbh… The only improvement this tech has is that the original machine had a base plate of pre-famulated amulite surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two spurving bearings were in a direct line with the panametric fan. Now the latter consiste simply of six hydrocoptic marzlevanes, so fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft that side fumbling is effectively prevented.
