  1. Good for Tom Suozzi for finally gaining a conscience I guess, but he absolutely still needs to be primaried for voting to fund ICE after *everything* that’s happened. Saying “I failed” isn’t good enough.

““I hear the anger from my constituents, and I take responsibility for that.”

    Resign.

  3. Sorry?!

You voted to fund the American Gestapo and let them carry on senselessly killing innocent American citizens.

Sorry isn’t going to cut it.

  4. It’s become a simple equation: you can support Trump, or you can support America. There is no middle ground and you can’t do both.

  5. I hope all Americans remember how their representatives voted on issues such as ICE when they go to the polls in the fall.

I accept your apology, and submit that accepting your apology does not absolve you of the consequences of your vote.

  7. And the damage control begins. Remember their names, left and right, all those who enabled this scourge. They need to be primaried.

  8. Great.

    Thanks for admitting it.

Now if you don’t mind, either start taking clear decisive **action**, or get ready to be primaried.

Your apology is meaningless if you don’t back it up.

  9. Too little, too late.

You’ll forever be remembered as a traitor to the American people. Your career is over.

Apology not accepted you spineless, craven, worm. You should’ve thought about what kind of message that sends and what might happen if you continue supporting funding another American Genocide conducted by DHS. Go fuck yourself Suozzi. I wish I lived in your district so that I can help vote your pathetic ass out.

Rep. Souzzi doesn’t need to worry. Since it’s clear who he works for, NY’ers will relieve him of his duty.

  12. He’ll get a chance to show his sincerity and the depth of this apology. There’s no chance the Senate will vote for funding ICE, and the bill will return to the House. Watch what he does them. My money is on another lame excuse or explanation, but maybe I’ll be surprised.

Day late and a dollar short. He’s upset he failed to get away with it, nothing more.

Voting to fund murder squads isn’t a failure in judgment, it’s a total moral collapse.

So he voted for it after they killed Renee and now suddenly feels bad after another usc was killed.

Man is now doing the we’re sorry bit … please don’t fall for this bs

  16. Renee Good was already dead, this wasn’t a confused vote. He’s trying to have it both ways: “I did this but then I said words that magically make my culpability vanish and I get to still be a good person.”

He voted to fund ICE AFTER they murdered Renee Good. It was only after Alex Pretti’s execution that he said he failed. So he was fine with the first murder.

  18. I recently realized my short term gain from voting for ICE will be outweighed by my long term election loss

Renee Good and Alex Pretti aren’t coming back because of your whining. Do whatever it takes to dismantle the Trump administration.
