Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his condolences for Tuesday’s deaths of seven Greek soccer fans in a car crash in Romania, adding that the government is cooperating with local authorities on the issue.
In a Facebook post, Mitsotakis said he was “overwhelmed” by the accident and voiced sympathy for the victims’ families. “I hope the injured people get well soon,” he added. “Our thoughts are with them.”
