WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber announces they will offer assistance to local small businesses affected by this past weekends recent ice storm.

Chamber officials say that as damage assessments appear across the city, many small businesses are experiencing operational and workforce challenges.

“Our business community is resilient, but the effects of this storm are real,” said Kristopher Kelley, Executive Director of the West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber. “The Chamber’s role is to help businesses navigate moments like this. We want our members and the broader business community to know they are not facing recovery alone.”

In response the the chamber says it will offer direct business support services including the following:

  • Connecting businesses with recovery and operational resources
  • Assisting with marketing and communication tools
  • Providing referrals to trusted local contractors and service providers
  • Offering temporary workspace access at the Chamber office, which currently has power and Wi-Fi available during regular business hours
