Its Trump’s revenge on TikTok for its role in getting young adults radicalized against him in his first term. A massive amount of 20 year olds used it to coordinate getting tickets for his rallies and not showing up. Several events where there so many empty seats. Behind the scenes, Trump was seething because he never had any sway with young folks, and doesn’t know how weaponize the apps viral fame. So forced controlling it through his billionaire buddies is his way of putting the collar on what was a big part of his losing to Biden. And most assuredly they control its use on any ICE coverage. Just like Zuck does with Meta.
