Just remember that this 4 year high is specifically measured against the dollar, the last time the pound hit a high above this was Oct 2021 at $1.39 but now in Jan 2021 is $1.38

FYI this is mainly the US rather than anything really specific around the health of the UK. GBP/EUR is basically stable for the last 6 months or so.
