My parents have recorded 50 at their place in coastal NSW twice. I’ve seen 46 here on several occasions.

Reminds of the scene in Chernobyl where they accept the radiation number without realising that’s the max reading on the meter.

I was working night shift in adelaide monday night/tuesday morning, it was 36.8 all night, i was soaking myself with the hose every hour and was back bone dry in about 10 mins, it was hotrible.
