  1. Maybe alienating allies and pushing them towards embrace of your enemies was not a great strategy after all.

  2. Well, typically in that situation you solidify your long standing alliances and concentrate on those real potential threats. The administration is doing none of those things.

  3. Not a single asshole in this entire shitshow has ever played a single game of Civ, much less any real government experience.

You do warmonger shit, you alienate your allies and get labeled a warmonger.

I have 0 exp in foreign affairs or and diplomacy and yet my low ball education has taught me that if you are nice to your allies, they will be nice to you, economically, politically, and militarily.

But you can’t have someone like me running the US, who else will feed the lobbyist, Crooked Pentagon and private contractors across all sectors all that US tax payer money for them to pocket….b/c I wouldn’t

This is just fear mongering to justify an endless arms race. If the US builds a golden dome, its adversaries are going to build their own version and/or weapons that cannot be intercepted by the dome. Then the US will pour even more money into a “diamond” dome, and the cycle repeats.

  6. They’re trying to create fear so they can then offer up their agenda as a solution to a fictional problem they created. This is a page directly out of history’s oldest playbook. Don’t fall for it.

  7. Another checkmark in the “Road to fascism” playbook: Get people used to military / law enforcement presence in your streets “for protection”

  8. If only there were an organized system of aligned countries working cooperatively toward joint security goals.

I mean, in reality, this is scaremongering to justify spending enormous amounts of money on military buying from the President’s political backers.

But it’s telling that two years ago, it was a laughable concept and now it’s more like the guy with the matches warning you about a fire

The President of Peace would never let this happen. He has a 2nd hand Nobel Peace prize, for goodness sakes!

  10. If our President and administration weren’t such dicks all the time, maybe there would be building hate towards our country.

America forgets, ignores or doesnt realise one of the main reasons and benefits for why the US pushed for NATO and wants a global presence in so many other countries is that they can fight the wars in those countries, and not at home in the US.

What, people thought America was so heavily invested in NATO for purely altruistic reasons like protecting their allies? 😂

The defence industry profits are down and need to increase shareholder profits so let’s generate hysteria on home soil to make up the difference.
