  1. I’ve googled official charts and it doesn’t seem accurate. We’re not even in the top 10….Is this fake data lmao

  2. Just Googled Canada’s population. It’s ~41.7M, so Toronto hosted visitors equivalent to ~67% of the national population. That’s impressive for a single city.

Well done, America. Art of the Deal, ammirite. Fucking idiots. Vote and go against your own interests for what? Is this winning??

Visited for the first time last year, great city, good food and everyone we met seemed very pleasant. One of the worst public transport systems I’ve ever encountered in a developed nation.

  5. Biased because this is my home city, but I think it’s one of the greatest places. Comfortable, modern, and a great gateway to other cool stuff in the region. Anyone from Toronto may complain about transit or traffic or how humid it can get in the summer, but– and I say this as someone who travels a lot for work and personal reasons– I wouldn’t move anywhere else permanently.

  6. As a Canadian I don’t even know how to feel about this. Tourism inside Canada is extremly overpriced and I expected younger generations who can’t afford anything to travel less and less until everyone from airlines to hotels got the message, but with the current situation down south I can only be glad I guess idk.

Toronto is not only a great place to visit but it’s also a great hub to see a lot of Canadian attarctions in one trip. You can drive to Niagara Falls and surrounding wine region, the Prince Edward country beaches and wine region. Can take a train to Ottawa/Montreal/Quebec.

  8. From upstate NY and used to pop over to Toronto for day trips. Just a fabulous city. Underrated super cool place – the Toronto Islands.

Such a mid place to visit. Don’t know how this is possible. Vancouver and Montreal have more to offer for tourism

  10. I went to Canada before Christmas. I had planned to go to the US but thankfully I changed my mind.

Toronto was amazing but I fell in love with Vancouver.

That’s what happens when Canadians won’t go to the US. They go visit our largest city.

  12. Went there this summer instead of NY because of all the fuckery south of the border and Im so glad we did, my kid wants to go back real bad, we had a blast

  13. You know what would be a good investment? FAST public transportation that people can get to see outside of Toronto. Also asylums… but we can’t have it all, right?

It’s really awesome how they are funneling all this money into affordable housing so more people don’t freeze to death in the streets this year 🙂

  15. Who the fuck wants to come here? As a torontonian, I see 0 desire to visit here, but it’s an amazing place to call home.
