This is not a fiber optic drone. Speed is too high for it.

Bm-35 drone – uses satellite so can’t be jammed. Believe it’s the drone that uses Starlink

How do we know that its mockup?
BrocoLeeOnReddit on
This is either AI or a dummy. Look at the cockpit. The plane is fake one way or the other.
Lard_Baron on
You can really tell it’s a fake because it glows bright red when the drone gets close.
All real F16’s do that.

The nose looks a bit off but that could be distortion. That looks very real and that is not a fiber drone.

Doesn’t look like a mockup to me, and its not a fiber optic drone

Wtf is on the road to the left? Kinda looks like multiple tanks with covers or something. But why would they be on a runway/road potentially blocking the f-16 from taking off

Mock up! Doubt it! This most likely was a hit on a plane. Whether it is operational or not.

Just imagine how excited that orc was. Only to end up punked

15 year F16 mechanic here:
This 100% could be a real 16. It looks to have the exact dimensions a real 16 would have and as far as the cockpit. If you’re referring to the canopy being yellow. That’s just a tint. They could have applied it to help see during the night, snow, whatever reason.
All I know is it looks to be a block 50 or lesser I can’t discern it from real or fake with how grainy the video is but I’d venture to guess it was real.

I hope this is real mockup, if its not so this is real fuckup. The fact like this strike was made by Rubikon team make me worried because this is elite unit specialised on any kind of drone strikes, counterpart to our Birds of Madyar, they prepare there strikes pretty well.

Why is it worth to place such mockups around? Aren’t drones relatively cheap to make anyway?

Not the first time decoys have been used. In WWII the US had inflatable tanks and jeeps as well as wooden models. All in an effort to get Germany to head in the wrong direction or waste ammo and supplies targeting decoys.

That’s an impressive looking mockup. Really hoping it is one.

A parked F-16 being within fibre optic range… sure and the T14 will be in Kyiv tomorrow.
