Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting this Thursday with the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati. The Presidency shared details of the meeting, noting that Osmani discussed with Prattipati Kosovo’s membership in the “Peace Board” as well as recent developments in the country.

“In this context, President Osmani emphasized that aligning the Republic of Kosovo with the United States of America has always been the right and strategic decision. She underlined that Kosovo believes in the leadership of President Trump and remains ready to make a concrete and responsible contribution to international efforts aimed at preserving peace, stability, and security,” the Presidency said in a statement.

Osmani and Prattipati also exchanged views on a range of important issues related to bilateral cooperation, as well as on the President’s international agenda in the coming months.
