  1. I once took a tour of the UN in NYC and as they talked about sanctions I asked if the US has ever been sanctioned. She didn’t know so went to ask, came back and moved to a different topic.

they are most likely overcrowded with overpaid and entitled useless employees. they should trim down and then ask for money.

Honestly, what good is UN these days? Why would anyone wanna pay for Useless Nothing?

  4. CHINA must pay more as they want to be the new leader of the world! Great power comes with great responsibilities 😉

  5. Well, the 5 big countries of the Council, the ones who can veto whatever the UN is doing, can go ahead and veto that requirement too.

  6. Lots of bots in the comments here. It’s almost like there’s an organized effort to dismantle the UN?

Looking at how events have transpired. I feel like having the UN collapse might be the actual goal of the US administration.

It would allow a push for the “Board of Peace” to replace the UN with Trump as the “Leader”

Can’t help but fear how everything is devolving honestly

  8. Or what? “urge” with stronger words? UN has less power than a toddler crying on the floor of target demanding a cheap toy.

It is pretty much useless and certainly did not save anyone in Ukraine, or Sundan, or Haiti. Now it probably cannot save itself.

  9. I don’t understand why the old rule needs to be reformed. Aren’t they running out of money anyways? They wouldn’t have any unspent money in this case.
