The annual start-of-year event organised by the consulting firm eastCOM Consulting, publisher of the Serbian Monitor portal, took place at the Sky Bar on the rooftop of the Lumière Hotel.

The informal atmosphere, lasting until late at night, allowed participants to meet old and new acquaintances, enjoy the view of central Belgrade from the tenth floor, and appreciate the catering provided by the Le Petit Chef restaurant.

Diplomats from various European and Asian representations, entrepreneurs, managers, lawyers, accounting and finance consultants, and other friends came together to exchange impressions, opinions and contacts, and to take stock of 2025 and the outlook for 2026 in terms of professional and broader prospects.

The community of Serbian Monitor readers is constantly growing, and January 2026 recorded a new milestone: over 35,000 unique users (Google GA4 data), with strong growth in interest from non-European countries, a sign of the increasingly global attention to developments in Serbia. During the evening, some of the most relevant articles and commentaries published on Serbian Monitor in 2025 were presented as a kind of summary of a year of protests and challenges, as it was described, which required businesses and professionals to adapt to this new scenario.
