  1. Pretty much what everyone was saying Djokovic’s plan would be before the match – drag it out as long as possible and try to outlast him.

  2. couldn’t this trend be true of all players? that the longest matches *for them* are natrually outliers in length, and so they’re more likely to lose?

    a more indicative stat would be to show his win rate at different lengths compared to other top players
