  1. They won’t because the media silo they are in won’t even mention Epstein. It’s strange but when you talk to these people they are getting fed completely different news stories. If they engage on current events it’s to contort into a mental gymnastics professional on something like how you should just comply and ice will not pump 10 shots into you even though they have 2a stickers on there car.

I’ll be at work and they will come up and ask me about some obscure trans person or what Biden did years ago. I honestly don’t understand how you could walk around with blinders on but they do.

Remember when the Catholic church was in complete denial when the sex scandals first started to be publicized?

This is kind of the same, but with a massive propaganda network maintaining the disbelief.

  3. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Wait…Wait…I have to catch my breath. OK.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

cHrIsTiAnS were always charlatans. Always will be.

    Never gonna happen, folks!

Christians have been protecting pedophiles for as long as Christians have had power. Do not expect them to save us.

  5. This won’t happen if pastors are getting donations from political groups to preach the right-wing and demonize the left. It is a form of brainwashing.

They’ll say “all he has to do is ask for forgiveness, and forgiveness will be blessed upon him”

They only know good and bad based on what they are told is good or bad. They have learned to ignore their innate sense of ethics and morality and replaced it with an authoritarian system that captured them using fear.

  8. They haven’t given a shit about what Jesus tells them for over a decade.

They still turn out at least once a week for 45 months or so, sometimes more.

  9. The entire goal of the GOP was the radicalize evangelical Christians and disrupt the Bible Belt, from the rest of the country.

Trump is their god emperor. They have chosen to show fealty to him. They are easily identified by the mark on their foreheads, er… I mean the red caps on their heads.

In my experience, Catholic Priests follow the guidance of their local Bishop or their Order. The vast majority will base their homilies on the scripture readings for that day/week, or the current focus of the Church. Most rarely come out in condemnation of any specific person or persons. Rather, they will talk about what we, the congregation should do as Christians. Of course there are some areas of the country where priests and congregation are more vocal, but you rarely hear the Church itself come out against an individual unless it comes from the top.

The Pope has been pretty vocal about the treatment of the poor and refugees, and the Vatican has just proclaimed a Special Year of Saint Francis of Assisi, to mark the 800th anniversary of the saint’s passing, and encourage faithful to embrace peace, charity, and simplicity. Pope Francis chastised both JD Vance and Biden publicly because they are Catholic, and for different reasons: Biden for his support of abortion and Vance for his treatment of poor and immigrants.

But if you’re expecting the Church to condemn Trump (who is a heathen) for a specific crime that has yet to be proven (even though we all know he probably did it)? You’re probably going to have to wait a while.

I just asked my “Christian to the bone” parents about that poor 5 year old boy that is losing his will to live if they would condem ICE actions and they stayed silent. And then when Don Lemon was arrested they spewed off about how you “can’t scare children and old women at church”

I followed that up with how they’re terrorizing women and children and schools and churches and they just said “they’re doing their jobs”

There is not opening the eyes of anyone under the cult’s mind control. They’re too far gone.

  13. Christians are the **last** group that will let him go. They have centuries of practice is denial and magical reasoning.

There you go again, thinking christians have some kind of decent moral standpoint. Like, “I know I shouldn’t be, or support a horrible person, but It feels good, and jeesus will forgive me, anyways.”

  15. They won’t say anything. Anyone who does, the admin will go after and they’ll lose tax status

  16. Real Christian’s been saying this the whole fucking time

Don’t mistake them for the MAGA “Christians”

If they haven’t already it’s safe to say the never well, it’s not like Trump was good person passing before the latest revelations.

  18. “Sorry, best I can do is support him in complete contradiction to our saviours specific teachings.”

  19. bit-by-a-moose on

Like they don’t have a shit load of platitudes at the ready. “He’s not perfect, just forgiven” “it is even better that god has chosen such an imperfect vessel”

Stop waiting for them to wake up. If they want to support this despicable person then they can wear him like an albatross and be treated like someone who worships a pdf, trafficker, moron, sociopath.

Ermm I wouldn’t rely on American Christians to do the right thing. At best they are amoral.

I’ve posted multiple memes pointing out how Trump’s values and actions are completely incongruent to the teachings of the Bible in professormemeology. Guess how the conservative Christians respond?

Anyway, what Trump is doing is literally blasphemy against God: Dragging His name through the mud to further his own hateful ambitions. Pope Leo said it, many small churches said it, but so many churches ignore it.
