  1. Ok, I am booing this post: it should say “A Minneapolis fine dining chef serving his dishes from Polish grandmother’s heritage recipes”..but kudos to him and his skills.

    The guy says that his family comes from village called Zamość. It’s a town actually (population: 58 000), in south-east of Poland, famous for it’s renessance architecture.

    No, we never were occupied by French. I wonder, maybe he is talking about Napoleon period?

    All the dishes look fabulous. The color of the chłodnik on the first shot – dreamy!

  3. Pierogies look good though. One thing that irks me, is the guy serving them on giant plates in fives, like it’s some sort of a delicacy.
