Vučić suggested that a US attack might be intended to distract from recently released files in the Jeffrey Epstein case. He said the timing could accelerate decision-making, predicting a strike on Iran within 48 hours.
“When such nonsense appears, as it did with Monica Lewinsky, then someone starts bombing. Will they speed up the decision-making? I am almost certain,” Vučić said.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that President Donald Trump had tasked his team with developing potential options for rapid military action against Iran.
The sources said the measures were intended to be decisive but designed to avoid drawing the US into a prolonged Middle East war.
In addition, The New York Times’ sources reported that Trump was presented with several expanded strike scenarios, including a possible ground invasion.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that any US attack would ignite a “regional war” in the Middle East.
