  1. A quick google search says Brisbane city council. You could snap send solve this to BCC!

  2. Leave them be: Australian paper wasps (*Polistes* spp.) are beneficial to the environment, acting as natural pest controllers by feeding caterpillars, flies, and aphids to their larvae. They also function as pollinators, aiding in plant reproduction. While they can deliver a painful sting if threatened, they are not typically aggressive and are crucial for garden ecological balance.

Paper wasps are bros (girls i guess)

We have a nest under the awning sheltering the clothes line. My head comes within like 10cm of them when putting up the laundry and they couldn’t care less. They take out all sorts of pests and pollinate the local area. Though its a shame that Asian house geckos usually wipe them out in our experience

Leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone

  4. You can get a can of wasp spray from Bunnings that has a long enough stream to reach most nests.

However I agree, those types of wasps generally don’t bother anyone unless their nest is disturbed. I’d just leave it.
