Kosovo Police announces that as a result of precipitation, icy roads and reduced visibility, traffic conditions are difficult on many road segments.
The Kosovo Police spokesperson emphasizes that in order to prevent accidents and maintain the safety of all traffic participants, drivers are urged to show increased caution and take the following measures: Adapting driving speed to current road conditions, maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle in front, using lights in conditions of reduced visibility.
He also asked traffic participants to avoid dangerous maneuvers (unnecessary overtaking, sudden braking), and drivers to ensure that the vehicle is equipped and technically in order for winter conditions.
“Kosovo Police remains engaged in the field to monitor and manage traffic, while the cooperation of citizens is key to shared security. Travel carefully. Your safety is our priority,” he says.
Today, several accidents were reported in the country during the day, as a result of snowfall.
