The new president of the Province of Lecce, Fabio Tarantino, mayor of Martano and outgoing regent president, with 49,474 weighted votes, i.e. 53.67% (against Poli Bortone’s 42,695, equal to 46.32%). “They betrayed us”, complain the centre-right big names. 7 centre-right councilors between Lecce and Nardò voted for the broad camp: some of them had tears in their eyes.
