Hello everyone! I wanted to share with you one of the most impressive places in Kosovo that often goes unnoticed by tourists: Sleeping Beauty Cave in Radac, Peja.
If you are a lover of nature and history, this place is great for several reasons:
• Legend: It got its name from a rock formation that looks fixed like a woman lying in deep sleep.
• A Thousand Years of History: Archeological remains dating back over 6,000 years (from the Neolithic era!) have been found inside.
• Geographical Position: It is located next to the Drini Bardhë waterfall. You can visit both spots in one day.
• Experience: The cave gallery is rich with amazing stalactites and stalagmites that have been created over the centuries.
It is a fantastic weekend destination and a good opportunity to promote our natural beauty. Who among you has visited and what impressed you the most?
