Discussion on Capitol Hill, Enver Hoxhaj seeks Kosovo’s membership in NATO

Former Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs, Enver Hoxhaj, discussed at a roundtable on Capitol Hill on the topic “Investing 5% in Defense and Commitment to US. partnership” in Washington DC, where he called for Kosovo’s membership in NATO, emphasizing the strategic importance of the Balkans for European security.

Through a post on Facebook, Hoxhaj shared photos from his participation in the American Congress, where he stated:

“In my speech on Capitol Hill, I called for Kosovo to join NATO. The security of the Balkans is today a key issue of European security,” Hoxhaj wrote on Facebook.

Hoxhaj emphasized that the stability of the Western Balkans is no longer just a regional issue, but an essential component of the security architecture in Europe, especially in the context of new geopolitical developments.
