Hey everyone, just found this beautiful little budgie on Euston Rd in Hughesdale. If it's yours or know who it belongs to, please get in touch. We are gonna take it to the vet to make sure it's ok, we think it might have a problem with its wing(s) coz it was having some difficulty flying above my knee height.

I found a bird a few months back and posted here too, had a terrible time finding a vet/somewhere to surrender him when the owners didn’t show, every place we called bounced us around from council, to vets to rehoming places. There’s pretty much no options for non cat/dog pets if they’re not registered/tagged or chipped (apparently an option with birds though unlikely)
The best option we found was surrender them to the lost dogs home which had no facilities for rehoming and would only look for the owner(which we knew at that point wasn’t going to show) and would euthanize it. It sucked but I think some owners are dumb enough to think setting a bird like that free into the wild is okay.
I hope your story ends better, luckily found someone on reddit to take him in in the end!
He looks just like my pet budgie as a kid. His name was George and he lived for 15 years. I really loved him 💞
