EC starts probe into Romania’s planned changes to fixed wholesale market regulations

The European Commission has launched an in-depth investigation into a proposal by Romania’s telecommunications regulator Ancom to reintroduce regulations on the market for wholesale local access provided at a fixed location. Since 2015, this market has operated without regulation.
