Man spends £9k driving over 9,000km in his truck to Norway – to see Northern Lights

Malik Al-Sultan, 28, from Saudi Arabia, drove over 9,000 kilometres and spent £9,721 to see the Northern Lights in Norway. He planned the trip for a year and drove through 19 countries in his Toyota Land Cruiser. After three weeks on the road, he reached Bodø and finally saw the aurora borealis, saying it “made the entire journey worth it.” Malik plans to continue driving home, taking a different route but treasuring the adventure.
