Dear colleagues,

As you know, in January we unfortunately did not manage to achieve the minimum plan implementation threshold of 96%, which would entitle us to the payment of a bonus/dividend.

We are fully aware that the result obtained could have been caused by many factors, both internal and those that are not dependent on the teams’ work.

Unfavorable weather and exceptionally low temperatures limited customer traffic in stores in some regions and forced many households to make additional savings due to high heating costs.

Taking these circumstances into account, we decided to introduce a solution that would allow us to appreciate the teams’ efforts despite difficult conditions.

Therefore, if we achieve 97.5% of the plan implementation in February, an additional bonus for January will be added to the bonus due for February, calculated on the basis of the dividend value of 0.1% of sales in January.

I believe that in line with our values - we rely on each other and work as a team – through joint efforts we are able to achieve the set goal and use this opportunity to fully compensate for the January result. I hope that we will do everything to ensure the satisfaction of our customers and provide them with the best possible shopping experience, which will translate into business results.

Thank you for your commitment and daily work in demanding conditions.

Best regards,

Paweł Stolecki

  1. Well, so?

It’s a bonus with clear requirements. And they were even nice enough to give you some opportunity to get it anyway, based on February’s results.

  2. Nobody here can read. Biedronka should simplify this message for people like you. It’s ridiculous.

  3. Wait…isn’t this message a good thing? There’s a clear requirement for a bonus, that wasn’t met, but management knows it’s nobody’s fault but the weather, so if they meet the next one, they get 2 bonuses… I mean what else should they do? give the bonus despite not meeting requirements? I mean, that would be nice, but that seems unrealistic.

  4. My employer has cut bonuses because covid and what not (I didn’t work there at that time) and guess what. The covid is “over” and bonuses are nowhere to be seen. We get 100pln for christmas and other than that we get normal wage. There is no bonus for anything.

Yes it sucks to not be able to get a bonus but not all jobs have a bonus. You are also free to find a job that suits your expectation.

  5. AllPotatoesGone on

0,1% for 99% employees (normal store worker and logistics) as a fair share… Don’t they see how ridiculous it sounds?

  6. But is bonus, something extra. They didn’t take it. They didn’t give something extra.

No ale to jest bonus. Nie zabrali czegoś tylko nie dali ekstra.

What was the plan? I’m just curious what would 96% of plan implementation mean in biedronka

  8. Limited customer traffic?! Every single one of your stores is filled to the brim and would be even more, but there are pallets at every fucking corner…

  9. Przy tym wszystkim w portugalsko-holenderskim markecie pracownicy mają chociaż ciepło a nie jak w sieci najbogatszego Polaka.
