Congressman Self speaks to Haradinaj about his past as a Green Beret, AAK leader emphasizes Kosovo’s NATO membership

The Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, met with American Congressman Keith Self during his stay in the US.

Haradinaj said he thanked the US for the support it has provided to Kosovo.

He said that he emphasized that Kosovo’s membership in NATO remains the right path for the future and for strengthening the strategic partnership between the two states.

“In the US Congress, I held an open and friendly meeting with Congressman Keith Self, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe in the House Foreign Affairs Committee. I thanked him for his unwavering support for Kosovo and expressed my gratitude to the United States of America for standing by our nation from freedom to democracy and independence.”

“I emphasized that Kosovo’s membership in NATO remains the right path for our future and for strengthening our strategic partnership. Congressman Self, a former US Army officer with 25 years of service and a graduate of West Point, has extensive experience in Special Forces and international missions.
