driving down old northern road when i saw this car with massive poles on the roof, i have no clue what it was and didn't react fast enough to take a photo. the pole things were easily the height of the car. does anyone have any clue what the hell i saw????

If the poles were up around the height of power lines or the like, it could be an oversized load transport company checking for low hanging infrastructure to plan a high load route.
