  1. Cue all the hysterical coverage of this from Murdoch and Packer news conglomerates in 3…2…1…

    *crickets*

  2. >Stanley said damaged graves could be repaired, and that people who had died in war should be treated with respect, and equitably.

    >“At the same time as the Israelis are, understandably, demanding the return of the remains of hostages, the IDF is bulldozing the remains of Commonwealth soldiers; there’s an irony there.”

I believe the word you’re looking for is hypocrisy.

  3. Oh, so we’ll pipe up about what the genociders are doing to the dead, but not to the living? We really have no shame over our cowardice and hypocrisy, do we?

Well, it’s a good thing known war criminal Isaac Herzog is coming so Albo can give him a piece of his mind, right?

Praying for a journalist to grow a spine and ask Albo about what Australia’s position on all the Epstein stuff is especially with regards to Israel’s clear involvement but I don’t think it will ever happen unfortunately.

    Australia should not be paying.

    Israel should be. Period.

Muslims Have looked after those graves for 100 years, literally before Israel even existed.

    Why are such a pushover?

We should ask Isaac about it while he’s here, but I’m sure it’d ruin his mood

When Israeli President Isaac Herzog signed that Gaza-targeted artillery shell, he wrote: “Send the repair bill to Anthony Albanese, Canberra, Australia.”

This is such a minor issue after nearly three years of literal (the word you can’t post without being shadowbanned) that it is almost insulting to the dead to complain about.

    From The Age headline:

“Why Israel *was forced* to bulldoze the cemetery…”

    Forced… sure.

I have photos of the WWI Gaza war cemetery taken during WWII by an Aussie stationed there.

Let’s be clear. Israel committed a war crime against the remains of Australian soldiers. They have not apologised. They have not committed to restitution of the site. They have not shown any regard for our people and their sacrifice.

This is wrong on the deepest of levels. Yet it will be shrugged off here. That should not be tolerated.
