  1. If this guy isn’t dead he’s being helped, too many crazies cheered for the moron and spouted stupid conspiracy horseshit.

  2. Difficult situation for authorities. How long do you spend looking for someone who could be dead? If he’s alive he’ll be found sooner or later imo

There have been others who went into Bushland etc and evaded capture for years. There was still sightings and signs that they were alive.

Finding someone alive who doesn’t want to be found is hard, finding someone’s body is harder.

  4. Could there be something to be said for scaling back the search completely?

If he’s dead, he’s going to stay that way.

If he’s alive, if the cops aren’t actively looking for him he’ll slip up one day and get caught.

The world is a big place to escape.

Anyone remember Shaun Davidson, bloke who escaped the Bali prison – mocked authorities for months and then just disappeared.

    No trace

  6. I don’t think he’s alive, but also on the off chance he is alive, he’s a paranoid survivalist – would be smart to not tip him off that you’re going to go and get him.

  7. I don’t understand why it’s worth millions of dollars to search for a guy just to put him in prison which will cost more money when in effect he might as well already be dead. Very low chance he’s going to suddenly appear and start murdering more people. It’s like the police force just doesn’t want to be embarrassed (they should be incredibly embarrassed btw and I have no sympathy for their incompetence)

He is probably staying at a friend’s house or is dead. That seems like the most logical explanation. I wouldn’t be surprised if he managed to return home with the help of his wife
