Was supposed to be open by Feb26, but not 100% anymore.
I know that it will just partially open with a single lane only, as other works will be ongoing there for a few more years.

Would be nice not to have cars anymore along this area

It’s used as the loading zone for the Town Hall station. Won’t be gone till that crane comes down

I’m gonna have to disagree with you, it *shouldn’t* be reopened IMO.

I’ve been told it will remain closed permanently and at some point the 19 tram will continue past the (now) Elizabeth St terminus and head East along Flinders St.

It’s irritating that Apple Maps always seems to want to take you this way, and it can’t figure out that it’s closed to traffic 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Allowing for a bike lane at the least would be really beneficial. Currently battling riskier traffic to get to top of Collins.
