Herzog is a war criminal and has perpetuated a genocide. The NSW police should be arresting him the moment he lands and flying him to the Hague to face court.

Whether or not protests are legal or limited, these protests are a moral necessity.

If you’re going to be in the area – to protest or counterprotest or because it’s just where you need to be – stay safe.

Remember the human. Hydrate. Be sun smart.

  3. Cops are gonna have a hard-on for brutal behaviour this weekend. Some will be itching for a fight.

    Please be safe people.

  4. Even America allowed protesters to rally against Erdogan/turkey couple years ago. Why are we being suppressed from expressing our concerns?

I dont want war criminals like erdogan to visit this country, but you best believe I’d want to protest if he was invited here. Bet our government wouldn’t restrict those protests from proceeding.

  5. The police are 100% going to escalate this and then use the violence they caused as an excuse for even more authoritarian laws

all in the name of social cohesion

  6. How can the governments be soooo disconnected from the public… Taking cops away from general duties as well!?

  7. Make a note: Adam Houda has said he will represent anyone arrested at any protests against Herzog’s visit pro bono

I’m glad NSW police are fulfilling their most pressing duties.

    No not domestic violence.
    No not gang violence.
    No not financial fraud.
    No not robberies and burglaries.

Beating up protestors against the genocidal war criminal who has been invited to our country for some reason

Ok. I got purposely arrested in 2019 as part of Extinction Rebellion’s non violent civil disobedience.

This is how it goes. If the march isn’t approved, the police will ask you to move on or give you other instructions. Comply… unless you’re ok with being arrested by police. If it’s the RIOT police, you may be violently arrested even if you comply. I do not recommend resisting arrest – you’ll likely get a criminal record = you may have to tell employers and can’t travel to certain countries.

    – Minimum 4 hours in detention to process you, even overnight.

    – Do not confide in the police – they may use it against you.

    – Have your phone on unlock PIN, not face or fingerprint.

    – Take a comfy jumper as a cell pillow

    – Court case can be up to $2000 in lawyer fees. Unlike 7 years ago you may get up to $20k fine

    – If you have a previous you could get convicted (I wasn’t)
