  1. Technically lynxes, cougars and cheetahs aren’t big cats, but actually-man was needed in a discussion about birds and dinosaurs, so we’ll let it stand.

(They’re from the “small cat” group which is separate from the big cat group, but due to their size they can be described as large small cats or just large cats.)

It’s a rare sight these days, but Jaguars are native to the US as well, and they do still venture in from time to time

  3. Weird, the map doesnt show it but according to online advertisements we do have cougars in my area. Hot ones to be precise

  4. Disclaimer: in Russia, you won’t spot a tiger, leopard, or snow leopard near Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan or Koenigsberg…

  5. Chile has signs at the boarder that say “This is a Jaguar free Country, No Jaguars allowed!” So far it’s worked

As far as remember only Iran have last few native Asiatic cheetah and its extinct in all its historical range therefore Pakistan does not have any native cheetah while India imported a few African cheetah from Africa for reintroduction because it refused to exchange Asiatic lions for Asiatic cheetah with Iran.

  7. Pretty sure we have cougars in The Netherlands too!

Back in the day, going out, there were instances, I got hit on by women double my age.
