Tiger snake. Lamington National Park is one of the few places they can be found in QLD.
Calm tiger is calmly moving away. No cobra neck = calm.

You encountered one hell of a nope rope! A tiger snake.
Highly venemous, luckily, *usually* non-aggressive. Such as today for you. They are known to be one of the most agile snakes there is, to the best of my knowledge.
*IF* you manage to REALLY piss one off, good luck! They have a big strike range and recoil. But they are a cool snake to see!
