I hope that’s going to be an own goal in multiple directions.

The funny part is that the amount is so small compared to his wealth that it shows just how greedy this guy is.

  2. The original documentary by SRF on high rents pretty much shows how biased an SRF production can be and another reason why I will vote yes….

  3. That’s good publicity for the SRG – rich property sharks pay money to shut critical journalism down.

In our village, this guy’s house was known for a long time as ‘the prison’ btw. Bc it’s so ugly.

  5. Schreckliches Baumanagment wo Halter aabütet, wird chli oft a freelancer outgsourced wo denn plötzli am Morge de Sohn vom Kolleg uf de Baustell staht zum sis CV uufbessere..

  6. 100k won’t really help, it’s more to satisfy his ego. And the initiative will pass anyway. SRG is from the last century. Slowly Switzerland is changing, too. Eigenmietwert fell, now SRG will be capped before being dismantled probably in the next 10 years.

  7. That documentary was a leftist propaganda tool. No mention of the solutions offered by the right. They only focused on that building complex being demolished and the owner being a “bad rich guy” because he inherited his fortune. They don’t go into depth about what’s causing the rent hikes all over in the city, except for saying “new rents are high…” duh.

What makes it more outrageous was that politician living in his tiny apartment with his partner and paying a fortune for such a shoe box. Come on… criticising the high rents in the city but at the same time whiling to pay such a high rent in the first place, bringing the price up. People like them are part of the problem.
