The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Georgia, Zhou Qian.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a broad range of issues related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Particular emphasis was placed on the positive dynamics of relations within the framework of the strategic partnership between Georgia and China, alongside cooperation in the areas of trade and economy, education and culture.
The parties once again reaffirmed their readiness to further promote the development of the strategic partnership between Georgia and China.
The significance of the Middle Corridor and the prospects for its further development were also highlighted. The parties underscored their willingness to continue cooperation aimed at strengthening the legal framework between the two countries.
Both parties reiterated their unequivocal support for each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
